This role provides administrative and lending support to Business Managers, and customer service and support to customers.

You will:

Mortgage Adviser

We have a new opportunity for a savvy, driven, senior mortgage adviser to join our growing business. You'll be putting your skills to work for clients.

There are no sales hunting or bulky spreadsheets here. We will provide all leads and pride ourselves on our innovative technology.

You won't just be a mortgage adviser – you'll be the best in your field and have a desire to make things happen. A solid understanding of the buying process and customer service will be a given. You'll have the skills and initiative to influence business processes and help shape the department's culture.

You will:

  • Have 5+ years of New Zealand home lending experience essential, including experience lending with major banks
  • Have completed NZCFS Level 5 Core & Residential Strands (with existing accreditation preferred)


Business Manager (Financial Adviser)

Our Business Managers assist clients throughout the loan process, managing finance applications through to settlement with the help of a fantastic lending support team and innovative technology, ensuring their needs and objectives are prioritised, and providing advice when required.

You will:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in lending/loan broking
  • Have completed NZCFS Level 5 Core
  • Think strategically and be able to see the bigger picture
  • Be fantastic under pressure
  • Able to multitask without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Have a good understanding of responsible lending and compliance requirements. (Ideal, but not required. We will train a highly motivated adviser with a proven record of exceeding targets)

¹All approvals are subject to responsible lending inquiries. If you sign your loan contracts before 3:00 pm on a weekday, you will receive the funds on the same day. While bank processing times differ, funds usually show up in your account by early evening.

²Annual Interest Rate (AIR) and Annual Percentage Rate (APR): Unsecured interest rates range from 13.90% p.a. to 23.90% p.a.

³Minimum and Maximum Repayment Terms: Repayment terms range from 1 year to 5 years.

⁴Fees: Where Lending People is the creditor, we charge a $174 establishment fee. For a limited time, until 31st March 2024, this establishment fee is waived. Lending People does not charge a monthly fee or early repayment fee. Where another provider is the creditor, provider-specific establishment fees, monthly fees, and early repayment fees may apply.

Representative Example of the Total Cost of a Loan: If you borrow $10,000 over a repayment term of 36 months at an AIR of 14.95% p.a., your total repayments will be $12,631.60 (made up of $10,000 principal, a $174 establishment fee, and interest charges of $2,457.60). This example is based on amortised scheduled weekly repayments with a fixed interest rate for the term of the loan.
